on the spark issue, I removed the cover / stator is inside, much easyer than I thought, 4 wires, 8 windings, two of are blackened /burnt, that’s were the exciter coil wires go,no continuity on those two. i have a honda trx fw has no spark,when i work kill switch or ignition switch while cranking it has spark,then no spark when i stop cranking,atv does run when i have spark .SOLVED: Klf no spark at spark plug but got 12 volts – FixyaKawasaki ATV Forum – Bayou no spark?
