A few notes, I pulled this schematic out of an older scooter repair manual. I have a stock Shenke Shenke Motor YYT (Alien) CC that came a 11 Pole 3 Faze Stator and a 6 wire voltage regulator/rectifier AC CDI.

The Dawg Pound what can I use to cap that voltage and keep it from going over 12v? Also will using a regulator like this create too much heat?
Also, all the GY6 wiring diagrams I could find only show a 4-pin. I will also take another look at the plug today and make sure.

The CDI Unit is powered by the AC current coming from the wrapped stator winding. This current is stored in a capacitor within the CDI unit.
