GV TERMINAL WIRING The GV uses a 2-piece modular main connector. The connector is split in two pieces; terminals 1 through 6 (power supply and motor leads) and terminals 7 through 12 (control interface).
Each can be removed separately by pulling the connector body upwards and off of the mating header pins on the GV. In addition to the reliable and easy-setup function Gecko drives are known for, these drives also offer over-voltage, reverse polarity and short circuit protection.
If you are new to wiring up stepper electronics, these drives will help insure a wiring mistake doesn’t ruin your day. Here is a diagram for determining the type of stepper you have. If its the superior steppers they have an inductance of mh, i believe the sigma motors are very close to the same rating, you should be fine.
