As suggested by Nick_Pyner you either need to set the HC to or .
You have my ironclad guarantee that that wiring will not work with the code It is not compulsory that the bluetooth Rx has a voltage divider and one of regularly thumped before, I might point out an error on Currey’s diagram. As a slave it can only accept connections.
As a master it can HC RX to Arduino pin D3 (TX) via a voltage divider. HC TX to Arduino pin.
Bluetooth Module HC TX RX (using voltage divider v) RX TX I am assuming that RX, TX pins of HC are damaged even though i did the wiring like above! . The diagram is how it is SUPPOSED to be done.
Why do you have to use a voltage divider with HC bluetooth module? What i got is the schematic that you share the link to me but i need. Arduino D4 to HC pin 34 through a voltage divider . then set it without the need to change sketches or any manual operation from the user.Hence, the RX pin of the module is not 5v tolerant and the voltage level has to be at the v level.
A typical microcontroller’s TTL-UART will be at the 5v level. That’s why we’re making a voltage divider with a couple of resistors as shown in the diagram above.
The kits we sell use HC05 modules that are 5v tolerant. The model number on the module included in our kits is E The manufacturer’s own documentation shows this module being used directly with a 5V Uno digital IO pin. For this reason, we do not require a voltage divider when hooking the Rx pin of the HC05 to an Arduino Nano digital IO pin.
Step 3: Wiring the Circuit. Please note that while my actual prototype as shown in the video and photo uses the CD IC to level shift from 5V to V, in the wiring diagram I am using a voltage divider because I believe it will be simpler for most people to acquire the resistors than the IC.

Posted Aug. 31, So I read though the data sheets and found that this was a HC05 and it ran on v logic. But the Arduino TX pin runs on 5v signal, so all you needed to do is build a breakout board for it here is how you do that.
Mail me the full diagram. Post Comment. I am trying to connect my bluetooth module to my Arduino but it takes volts (the bluetooth module HC, The Arduino mega takes 5v) and the tutorials online say to .Bluetooth Module HCPotentiometer as a voltage divider : DC CIRCUITS
