The wiring diagram doesn’t make any sense to me. positive battery cable terminal goes to BAT on switchwire from the fule solenoid on carburetor, has to has to go to groundIGN, has to go the two coils on engine, to kill engine.

Apr 23, · I have a Honda 13 hp model GXVK1DET3 The motor has 6 wires coming off of it. Near the carborator there is one black wire that I think goes to the on/off switch to shut the engine off. Mar 26, · i have a honda gx that i have no spark.
i disconnected the black ground wire running from the coil to isolate the problem to the coil. no spark.
so i replaced the coil with a new one. still no spark.
i made sure oil was up to operating level in the crankcase. i even disconnected the oil sensor.
