Are all x-types fitted with these plugs in the loom, as I cant see them even with the boot stripped and a wiring diagram. Towbar is a Jaguar.
Does any one know if the genuine towbar wiring kit c2z is just for trailer I have the same problem but have seen an X Type with twin electrics i I do not have the wiring diagram for the XF but If you check your. x-type diesel sport. Aug 07, · On my X type saloon, an independent towbar specialist fitted a trailer socket (12n) using only a 7 way bypass relay with integral indicator buzzer. This worked fine but the only annoyance was the reversing sensors going beep everytime I was backing up with a trailer attached.
Jaguar X-type estate towbar electric connector. The Jaguar doesn’t have a towbar connector as such, there is a dedicated towbar wiring kit available, this plugs into the lamp connectors and has a towing module incorporated into the schematron.org also has a small connector that plugs in to a spare connector in the loom for cutting off the parking sensors when you plug in your trailer.
