FYI After a move, I was going through stuff to toss and I found this article on bi- wiring from the Vandersteen site.

Be careful han- wired speakers, the main amplifier remains in the signal. Vandersteen, in his owner’s manual and product literature, makes a BIG point of his assertion John clearly did not bi-wire the speakers when he tested them.
