The ECM does not have to be tune. I might have put 50 hours if no more just figuring out the wiring swap.
But I didn’t burnt any component and it fired up at first crank with no check. I know that the tranny will bolt up the motor will bolt up you should get the 3rz ecu.

The 3RZ-FE / 2RZ-FE (L or L) fuel injection system is entirely different from that of the older Toyotas. This means the 3RZ electronics will have to be in installed in your older Toyota in order to make this engine swap possible.
