this is an LS3 swap, Griffin Radiator, twin fans with PSI harness. Aug 14, · The trinary switch does that. All you need to do is wire the trinary switch output to the fan relay(s) for full speed.
I don’t have the schematic for the SPAL controller, but it may have been posted here previously. Maybe somebody could post it or a link. It shouldn’t be too hard to determine where to connect the trinary wire.
Jun 11, · Vintage Air has accomplished this in one switch and added in a psi fan control. A temperature switch integrates into the fan relay wiring to complete a comprehensive automatic fan control setup.
Either the temperature switch or the Trinary Switch can run the fan as needed. Jon P.
In the Vintage Air diagram, you will see that the blue wire on the trinary switch is used to ground switch the coil of the cooling fan relay. When the pressure of the refrigerant in the system exceeds the set point of the trinary switch it will close its contacts and connect the fan trigger to ground.
