Ignition Box Tach Output [No Timing Control].I am installing a Sniper EFI on a Mustang L using a Holley dual sync distributor and an MSD 6AL CD box. My question is, “Do I need to wire up both the pink wire from the adapter () and the pink wire from the 7-pin connector to 12V switched ignition source?”.
Apr 18, · This is my first post. I ordered the Sniper EFI system with the Dual Sync, MSD 6AL & Blaster 2 coil.
I can’t find any wiring diagrams showing this combination of parts. I’m trying to figure out if it’ll work and how to wire it.
I see a wiring diagram that shows a CD type coil with the 6AL box. Is that going to be the same as what I have?
Sep 12, · The car was a carb setup with an msd ignition. MSD coil, digital 6 plus, msd distributor.
I had a holley hp efi system replace the carb setup, but i cant get the car to turn over. I keep getting RPM stall.
If I touch the tach output on the digital 6, the rpm shows for a second then cuts out back to stall. holley stated that without tach output reaching their ignition trigger, it wont ever.
The wiring harnesses for them must be installed in such a manner that they are separated from “dirty” power and ground sources. DO’S Install the main power and ground directly to the battery. Keep sensor wiring away from high voltage or “noisy/dirty” components and .
